The National Youth Film Academy Hosts Talk With Agent Shane Collins

On Saturday 19th January, we hosted a talk and networking event with Agent Shane Collins at Greenwich University Library for National Youth Film Academy members.

Shane’s talk covered what it is to be an agent, and how to go about getting one. The talk was followed by a networking event, giving members the opportunity to meet fellow members as well as ask Shane questions.

I loved engaging with the students at the National Youth Film Academy. Their feedback and interactions were critical to my understanding of the new generation of Actors / Directors / Writers and Filmmakers, just as I hope my explanation of the work I do and the need for a good agent will be useful to them. With young people like these our industry, we can look forward to a brilliant future.

Shane Collins, Agent

This talk was a great chance to hear from an industry professional and gain an invaluable insight into how to get an agent, as well as giving us the amazing opportunity to talk to Shane and ask questions.
