Member Lands Work On Feature Film Normal People

We wish to share Tanith’s success and have therefore decided to keep up this article, however we do not condone the actions of Liam Neeson and his comments made in the article published by The Independent.

National Youth Film Academy member Tanith MacLynn-Hill has landed work on feature film Normal People, starring Liam Neeson and Leslie Manville, with the help of our Talent Team.

Joining fellow National Youth Film Academy member Matthew Sharpe, who landed the role of a receptionist on Normal People, Tanith will be working in the Art Department.

Tanith said;

I am really thankful for my experience with the National Youth Film Academy. After having a great time on the induction course, they have stayed in touch, giving me great advice and opportunities as the years go by.

The induction course helped me figure out where I wanted to work within the film industy. After that, Jenna helped me craft a CV and even got me a job working in the Art Department on a feature film called Normal People.

Working on a professional set was amazing and I was really thrown in at the deep end. I made props, worked as a runner on set and was given responsibility over transportation of props.

The contacts I made have really helped me with my career. My experience working and communicating with National Youth Film Academy has been excellent and I recommend everyone take the opportunity as it has benefited me exponentially.
