About Me

My Marketing career started in 2014 with a City and Guilds apprenticeship in Business and Administration at JLL. Upon completion of my apprenticeship, I joined JLL as UK Marketing Assistant where I worked for with over three years on various events, projects, campaigns and branded merchandise.

I am very ambitious, determined and proactive, whilst being highly organised with great attention to detail. I like to achieve and where possible exceed the goals and objectives that I have been set and I am able to work in pressured environments and to deadlines. I set myself high standards and like to produce high-quality work at all times. I am able to work independently as well as within a team. I am proficient using Microsoft Office software including Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with MAC operating systems and have experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and Fireworks as well as being well versed in iMovie and Final Cut Pro X.

I have completed a number of professional development training courses on topics including Increasing Personal Impact, Sustainability, Information Security, Time Management, Stress Management, PowerPoint, Advanced Microsoft Excel and Health and Safety Awareness.

I achieved a Black Belt in Shotokan karate in 2010 after training for 7 years showing my commitment to the sport. This included leading training sessions for lower grade students of all ages.

As UK Marketing Assistant at JLL, I supported the Corporate Marketing team on events, projects, branded merchandise requests and database management. The Corporate Marketing team successfully delivered five Triathlons over a three year period including the JLL Property Triathlon at Dorney Lake and its sister event in Manchester. My specific tasks in the project included managing the email account, being the main point of contact for telephone enquiries, setting up and testing the registration system, organising on-site branding, managing corporate tents, scheduling social media posts on Twitter and Facebook using Sprinklr, raising invoices using PeopleSoft and photography on the day of the event. I also organised the Property 5k event at Regent’s Park which involved creating a project plan and social media plan, writing email communications, liaising with suppliers, managing a budget, organising catering and coordinating on-site branding.
 
 I organised and helped to deliver a number of internal and external events including the JLL Property Predictions breakfast and seminar at the Rosewood Hotel, Honor Chapman Memorial Lecture at Haberdashers\' Hall, Capital Markets Drinks Reception at the Sky Garden, Apprentice Network CPD sessions at the JLL Warwick Street Office, Christmas Carols fundraisers for Crisis, and many others. I used Client First, Microsoft 365 CRM and Eloqua to manage client lists and update contact records, as well as using Eloqua to manage event campaigns and report metrics. I also managed and advertised ticket allocation across the business for the Royal Academy of Art and Lord’s Cricket Ground using Yammer and the weekly internal newsletter. I supported the business to deliver and embed two rebrands from Jones Lang LaSalle to JLL and one year later the brand refresh to update the company’s visual identity. A key part of my role was to oversee branded merchandise requests for the UK business, working closely with the Creative team to ensure that all designs followed brand guidelines and the quality of products were of a high standard. In addition to my work with the Corporate Marketing team, I supported the Alternatives Marketing team on an ad-hoc basis; specific projects and tasks included the creation and launch of the Alternatives Research Hub, sector rebrand and monthly website reporting using Google Analytics. I also supported a number of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives by participating in the Building Pride and Race for Change Networks and lead the Apprentice Network from 2016 to 2018.
