Breakthrough into Acting

Quote
The people I met I will know and work with for life, and I am grateful for National Youth Film Academy giving us the opportunity to work together on the course and in the future.
Elizabeth Cassidy. Alumni

The greatest fear of any Casting Director is an Actor turning up unprepared.

You may look the part, but if you don’t understand what it takes to get noticed and impress in less than five minutes, you may never break through into the industry.

The National Youth Film Academy’s Breakthrough into Acting course is an intensive five day course aimed at teaching you the fundamentals of how to use your acting skills to break into industry.

WHO

The Breakthrough into Acting course is open to all actors aged 16-25.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As well as allowing participants the opportunity to develop the skills they need to work professionally as an Actor, the five day course offers the chance to meet and work with fellow Actors and Filmmakers looking to kickstart their careers.

You will also walk away from the Breakthrough into Acting course with a National Youth Film Academy membership – which offers a host of tools and opportunities such as member events and access to our jobs hub – and those who have not already taken part will receive 25% o the price of our #SetReady course.
