Job Summary

Juke Media is looking for a full time Video editor and Cinematographer to join our team in Manchester.

We are a small team that is in the process of expanding in 2018, and this role will serve as a unique and exciting opportunity to truly make a difference to overall direction the company takes. Far more than a simple video editor role, we are looking for someone to come on board as an integral part of the company and help shape its future.

Responsibilities and Duties

As the title suggests there will be two main aspects to this role; video editing and cinematography. The video editing side of the job will encompass a huge variety of projects, from short social media clips and music videos to mini-documentaries and corporate showcases. The cinematography aspect will be equally as varied; we will require you to come on client shoots, document behind the scenes footage, create social videos independently and much more.

Aside from the two main aspects of the job, other duties that may be required include simple admin work and social media management, as well as many other tasks.

In short, we are looking for someone to become completely immersed in the workings of Juke Media, and be willing to jump into any aspect of the job.

Qualifications and Skills

The desired candidate is one with exceptional passion for video content, customer service and personal development. We want someone who is as confident in video content creation as they are in personality. The candidate is also one who wants to make a genuine difference to Juke Media, and not someone who simply wants to work for a paycheck.

Creativity, dedication, organisation and self-assurance are absolute musts.

Other essential skills / interests include;

Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
Familiarity with other Adobe applications, in particular; Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
Familiarity with camera techniques, composition and general videographic and photographic principles.
A desire to learn and develop with Juke Media, as well as the ability to go above and beyond what is required.
A passion for customer service, and a genuine interest in personability and professionalism.
Good communications skills, punctuality and organisation.
Other preferable candidate attributes:

Fully qualified driver with access to own vehicle.
Familiarity with Google docs and sheets.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
Social media experience, in particular Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Candidates must also own their own laptop capable of video editing.

We are focussed on changing the way corporate video content is viewed and delivered and have produced a huge variety of videos for multiple sectors, in the UK and abroad.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to travel to Europe for work, depending on individual circumstance. Juke Media also owns a large collection of camera and sound equipment which is completely at the disposal of any new employee.
